It's time for the first 10-minute break on the final day of play here at the Asia Pacific Poker Tour Cebu Main Event final table.
One more player down and this time it is the colorful Jacky Wang who makes his way to the rail to be consoled by his friends.
It all started when Alistair Duff opened with a raise to 32,000 from the button before action folded to Jacky Wang in the big blind. He thought for a moment before giving the triangle signal to indicate that he was all in for around 300,000. The all-in button had barely been tossed in front of him and Duff committed to the call.

An early position Jacky Wang opened it up to 33,000. Amit Varma made the call on the dealer button and the flop was dealt.
On the flop, Wang led for 37,000 and Varma made a fairly quick call as an was dealt on the turn. This would see Wang again lead, this time for 39,000. This prompted Varma to raise it up to 130,000. It was too much for Wang as he flicked his cards into the muck and sent the pot to Varma.

We haven’t seen too much preflop aggression so far on this final table, but Michael Kanaan is one who doesn’t mind upping the action.
Kanaan recently put in one of the first three bets we’ve seen so far when he made it 61,000 from the small blind, following the open raise on the button from Hoang Anh Do.
Do made the call in position and the flop landed . Kanaan led for 70,000 but Do came back with a re-raise to 235,000. Kanaan thought briefly before folding.

We have lost another player here at the 2012 APPT Cebu Main Event final table. This time it is Jae Kyung Sim who makes his way to the rail.
Sim was down to just 54,000 when he shoved all in from the cutoff. The action was then on Alistair Duff in the big blind and he thought quite hard about his decision. He was getting over 2-1 on his call, but his stack wasn't looking too big at this point and so he thought and thought and thought.
Eventually Duff would make the call, turning over . Sim tabled his and was in good shape to double up. That is, he was in good shape until ...
Flop:
A very bad flop for Sim and when the hit the turn and the hit the river, they would be meaningless cards as Sim heads out the door in 8th palce for a PHP 658,000 score.

It started with an open to 32,000 from Alistair Duff in the hijack. Jack Wang made the call from the button and the rest of the table got out of the way.
On the flop, Duff checked and then called Wang's bet of 33,000. The turn would see Duff again check and Wang would continue his betting, throwing out 43,000. It was too much for Duff as he sent his cards into the muck and sent Duff the pot.

"Yeah, he flopped it!" said Jacky Wang to Michael Kanaan after Hoang Anh Do turned over against Michael Kanaan's on a board.
The hand started when Do opened the button with his respectable nine-deuce and then bet 40,000 on the flop where Kanaan check-called. The two then checked the turn and river, which brings us back to the start of the post.

A small raise to 27,000 from Sameer Rattonsey (with 9th-place finisher Antoine Amourette's chips) was called by big blind Michael Kanaan. Kanaan led into Rattonsey with a curiously small bet of 16,000 on a flop of . Rattonsey called to the turn, where he took the betting lead with a bet of 24,000 after Kanaan checked. Kanaan check-raised to 61,000 but couldn't shake Rattonsey. He called, taking both players to the river. Kanaan bet 77,000. Rattonsey tanked for more than a minute before calling, but mucked as Kanaan showed for a flopped wheel.
