Daniel Kvesic opened to 1,800 from the cutoff and was called by Kuljinder Sidhu in the small blind and Santhosh Suvarna in the big blind.
Everyone checked on the J♣4♥3♦ flop and action checked to Kvesic on the A♦ turn. Kvesic bet 2,000 and Sidhu called. Suvarna then check-raised to 8,000, which got a fold from Kvesic, but a call from Sidhu.
The 7♥ completed the board and Sidhu check-folded facing a 9,000 bet from Suvarna.
"Flush draw," Sidhu said as Suvarna collected the pot.

Vlado Banicevic raised to 1,800 from under the gun and Martin Ryan called from the hijack. Nikola Minkov then also joined in from the cutoff before Andrei Boghean three-bet to 10,000 chips from the small blind. All three players made the call, sending the quartet off to a flop of A♠5♥8♦.
Boghean continued for 8,200 and Banicevic was the only caller, as Ryan and Minkov got out of the way. Boghean then slowed down and checked the 7♣ turn, after which Banicevic bet out 16,500.
Boghean made the call and both players checked the subsequent 2♠ river. Boghean showed his A♦Q♠ and Banicevic quickly flashed his AxJx before sending it in the muck and forfeiting the big pot to Boghean.

So far, It hasn't been smooth sailing for Nick Palma in Day 1b of the WSOP Europe Main Event. The American was down to 15,700 and had self-admittedly not won a pot all day.
His fortune looked to be changing after he opened to 1,600 from the cutoff and was called by Levan Rcheulishvili from the big blind.
Rcheulishvili check-called for 2,000 on the Q♥J♥3♥ flop which brought in the 9♠ turn. Rcheulishvili checked again and Palma moved all in for 12,100. Rcheulishvili thought it over for a few moments and called.
Nick Palma: A♣Q♣
Levan Rcheulishvili: Q♦2♣
Palma had the superior pair of queens and remained best after the 9♥ river to double up.

Jan Wieckenberg and Nicola Danselmo had gotten into a blind-on-blind battle and created a 20,100 chip pot in the process. The board was dealt up until the turn and read J♥2♠8♠3♦ when Wieckenberg checked from the small blind and called the subsequent 10,000 bet of Danselmo.
The 4♦ river then rolled off and Wieckenberg checked once more. Danselmo opted for a sizing of 16,400 chips this time and Wieckenberg slammed in the call after some deliberation.
Danselmo showed K♣J♣ for top pair and Wieckenber nodded in acknowledgement before sending his cards to the muck.
