Cho Picks the Wrong Time to Get Creative

Nível 5 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Wooram Cho
Wooram Cho

Wooram Cho raised to 1,600 under the gun before Miroslav Salaj three-bet to 4,000 in middle position. Vasileios Chatzilazarou called on the button, but Cho put in a four-bet to 13,000.

Salaj five-bet to 35,000 and Chatzilazarou got out of the way. Cho asked how much Salaj had behind before moving all in, and Salaj snap-called for 150,000.

Miroslav Salaj: AA
Wooram Cho: A5

Cho had made a move right into Salaj's aces and was left with even fewer outs after the J710 flop as Salaj picked up the nut flush draw. The 5 fell on the turn and Cho had one out heading to the river, but no miracles arrived on 2 as Salaj earned the massive double up.

James Chen

Heads up on a 238 flop, Daniel Dvoress check-called a 1,400 bet from the big blind against James Chen, who was in middle position.

The dealer brought the 4 on the turn and Dvoress again check-called a bet from Chen — this time for 5,500.

Dvoress checked a final time on the 4 river and Chen bet 14,500. Dvoress put in calling chips after a bit of thought and Chen tabled 99. Dvoress mucked upon seeing it and Chen took down a nice pot.

The A68 flop gave Amelipour top pair and the lead, while Karlic didn't improve on either the 5 turn or K river as Amelipour finished with two pair. Amelipour slammed the table with his hand to celebrate his double up, while Karlic was left as a short stack.

Tomescu Vexes Mateos With River Check-Raise

Nível 5 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Three ways on a Q2A flop, George Tomescu checked from the big blind, Adrian Mateos checked from early position, and Maksim Paniak checked from the hijack.

Tomescu checked again on the Q turn, prompting a 2,200 bet from Mateos. Both Paniak and Tomescu called.

The 3 completed the board and Tomescu checked a third time. Mateos sized up for a 9,200 bet, which got a fold from Paniak, but a check-raise to 35,000 from Tomescu.

Mateos went deep into the tank, re-checking his hole cards a couple of times before flinging them into the muck.

Three is Good For Rudolph

Nível 5 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Stefan Heizmann raised to 1,800 in the cutoff and was called by Christian Rudolph and Vlado Banicevic in the blinds.

All three players checked the QA10 flop, while Rudolph and Banicevic also checked the 3 turn. Heizmann then bet 1,600.

Rudolph came back with a raise to 6,300, chasing Banicevic from the pot. Heizmann stuck around and called to the 8 river.

Both players again checked and Rudolph showed 63 for a pair of threes and missed flush draw. That was good enough to win the pot as Heizmann mucked.
