Day 1b of Event #3: €1,350 NLH Mini Main Event gets underway at King's Resort, Rozvadov on Tuesday, November 23 at 4 p.m. CET and is the second of three starting flights for the event.
Yesterday’s action saw 321 entries with just 49 players making it to Thursday’s, November 25 Day 2.
Day 1a drew a prizepool of €385,000, which is more than half of the €600,000 guarantee. Should we see similar numbers for Day's 1b and 1c, the final prizepool could pass the €1 million mark.
Romania's Cristinel Costin bagged the chip lead, moving onto the next stage of the event with a stack of 1,750,000. Notables joining him include Rolf van Brug (1,415,000), Sirzat Hissou (1,450,000), Oliver Heidel (1,089,000) and Frederik Thiemer (419,000).
2019 Main Event Champion Jack Sinclair fell late on in Day 1a, as did WSOP bracelet winners Espen Sandvik and Stoyan Madanzhiev. Jan Bendik also couldn't find a bag for Day 2.
Vangelis Kaimakamis, the 2019 Mini Main Event champion, has also confirmed that he will be playing today's Day 1b. He won €167,056 ($184,596) for topping the 766 player field.
Like Day 1a, levels will last 40 minutes and Day 1b will wrap up when 15% of the field remains. Blinds begin at 100/300/300a and late registration will close after Level 12 (approx. 2:25 a.m.), which also marks the end of the re-entry period.
Players begin with a 100,000 starting stack and should all those chips disappear, players can fire a second bullet as this event permits one re-entry.
Be sure to stay tuned to PokerNews for all the updates from King's Resort!
