Raising War on the Flop Ends Up With Kerusauskas as the Winner

Nível 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Three players saw the flop coming {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and with around 1,200 in the middle Ignace Ludovic bet 700 after the check of Aivaras Kerusauskas from the blinds.

Yi Lin from the hijack raised it to 2,000 and action went back to Kerusauskas who made it 5,000.

Ludovic asked for his opponent chip count before folding and so did Lin.

''Show the pocket fives'' said Ludovic but Kerusauskas didn't bother showing his cards.

Thiemer Scores Triple Knockout

Nível 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Frederik Thiemer is another player in the Day 1b field who failed to advance from Day 1a.

He was involved in a four-way pot on a {j-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{6-Spades} board with three other players all-in.

Thiemer was ahead with {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} but was against the {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} of Christian Franke, the {a-Hearts}{3-Spades} of Marcus Aktander and the {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} of Thomas Merten.

The river {k-Clubs} was a brick, and Thiemer moved above 100,000 in chips after a triple elimination.

Some Healthy Stacks Midway to Level 3

Guarantee Smashed

Nível 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Event #1: €350 The Opener needed just under 1,000 entries to reach the €300,000 guarantee, and that figure has already been smashed before the first break on Day 1b has been reached.

With 551 entries on Day 1b along with 744 from Day 1a mean that almost 1,300 players have entered in total. The prize pool is now over €400,000, but with nine levels of late registration left, it remains to be seen how large the prize pool could get!

Nível 2 : 100/200, 200 ante
Sebastian Langrock
Sebastian Langrock

The board was {j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{a-Spades}{2-Spades} and Sebastian Langrock had bet 5,500 into a pot of 6,500. After a short tank, both his opponents folded and Langrock took down the pot.

The former WSOP bracelet winner was eliminated in the last level of the night on Day 1a, and will be hoping to survive and bag at the end of Day 1b.

Bokowski Gets a Double Up

Nível 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

The action started when a player from early position raised to 600 and Nicolas Bokowski three-bet from the button to 2,200. Marco Di Persio didn't take long before he made it 6,600 from the big blind. The initial raiser folded, while Bokowski called and two players saw the flop.

The flop brought {10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{k-Clubs} and Di Persio continued for 3,500. Bokowski called.

The turn was a {k-Hearts} on which both players checked but on the {7-Clubs} river Di Persio decided to put his opponent all-in.

Bokowski who had around 9,000 behind, thought for a while before ending up calling.

Di Persio bluffed with {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} while Bokowski made the call with a pair of eights {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

Piras At Quadruple Starting Stack Already

Nível 2 : 100/200, 200 ante
Mauro Piras
Mauro Piras

Mauro Piras was already sat with 120,000 in chips in front of him before limping into a pot along with three others.

The four players checked the {j-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop and the turn was the {10-Hearts}. It checked to PIras who bet 1,000 and got two callers.

The river was the {k-Diamonds}. It again checked to Piras who bet 2,500. Only one player called, but mucked when Piras showed {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for a straight.
