Hui Runs Out of Chips

Nível 16 : 25,000/50,000, 75,000 ante
Phil Hui
Phil Hui

No-Limit Hold'em

Phil Hui shipped all in for just over 600,000 from under the gun and the action folded to Julien Martini in the big blind who made the call to put Hui at risk.

Julien Martini: {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}
Phil Hui: {a-}{q-}

The flop came {8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds} to give Martini a set of threes and a commanding lead. The {a-Hearts} on the turn paired Hui but it was not going to be enough to keep his tournament hopes alive and the {10-Diamonds} completed the board.

No-Limit Hold'em

Left short on around 900,000 after losing a 2-7 Triple Draw hand against Dzmitry Urbanovich, Anatoly Filatov raised to 90,000 in the cutoff in No-Limit Hold'em and Besim Hot in the big blind three-bet to 300,000. Filatov moved all in and Hot made the call.

Anatoly Filatov: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Besim Hot: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

There was no threat on the {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop and the {10-Diamonds} turn but the cruel {a-Clubs} river spelled the end for Filatov in 17th place.
