Joseph Busts Van 't Hoff

Nível 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Jasper Van 't Hoff open-shoved for his last 7,100 on the second bullet and the action folded to Marc Anthony Joseph in the big blind.

"Come on, double me," the Dutchman demanded and Joseph replied "You got a chance" while exposing the {K-Hearts}.

"If the second card is a heart, I call," Joseph added and slowly squeezed his second card. It was the {6-Hearts}, and true to his word, Joseph called.

Van 't Hoff showed {A-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and scored the double on a board of {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. However, in the very next hand, he sent over the chips right back to Joseph and became one of the first players to bust for the second time on Day 1B.

Miegel Forces Fold from Sahijwani

Nível 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Picking up the action on the {A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, Sanjay Sahijwani checked and called a bet of 1,600 by table neighbor Jakob Miegel. Sahijwani checked again the {Q-Hearts} on the turn and called a second barrel for 4,700.

On the {Q-Spades} river, Sahijwani checked and Miegel made it 7,000 to go. Sahijwani double-checked his cards, sighed and needed more than a minute before reluctantly folding {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts} face up. Miegel dragged in the pot with a smile on the face.

Lob no More; Kaneoya Chips Up

Nível 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

On the four-way flop of {K-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades}{K-Diamonds}, Shaun Deeb checked and faced a bet of 1,400 and a call by Renato Kaneoya, which saw Deeb get out of the way. The player from the under-the-gun position then bet the {8-Spades} river for 700 and Kaneoya raised to 2,200. A call followed and the Brazilian turned over {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for kings and tens to scoop the pot.

Joachim Lob was down to the last 2,100 and all in out of the big blind. Two opponents called and Lob couldn't catch anything with {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} versus {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} and {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} to bust on the first attempt of the day.

Cirianni Scores Double Knockout

Nível 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Alexander Shelukhin
Alexander Shelukhin

Josef Schmalzbauer attempted to push out Jaroslav Peter in a battle hijack versus button, however, Peter called all in for 14,200 and tabled the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}. Schmalzbauer only held {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and the board came {J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{J-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}.

Soon after, the three-way flop showed {A-Spades}{K-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Schmalzbauer, as well as Alexander Shelukhin, were all in. Francesco Cirianni looked them both up and was ahead with {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for top pair. Schmalzbauer held {10-Spades}{2-Spades} for the ten-high flush draw and Shelukhin had {6-Spades}{5-Spades} for an inferior flush draw. Both the {A-Clubs} turn and {K-Clubs} river changed nothing and Cirianni scored the double knockout with a full house.
