Time For Some PLO!
Just under 45 minutes from now, the first of two Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments at the 2011 World Series of Poker Europe will be kicking off. Last year, this tournament attracted 120 players with Jeff Lisandro coming out on top winning a total of £159,514.
We are expecting a stacked field with many of today's greats like Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth and November Nine finalist Ben Lamb. We are expecting to play eight levels of 60 minutes with a short 20-minute break after every two levels. There is a 30-minute break scheduled after four levels, but since that break got extended to 60 minutes for the first two tournament we expect the same to happen today.
Each player today will be starting with 5,000 in tournament chips and have two additional add-ons worth 5,000 each. The add-ons can be put into use at any point during the first four levels. Make sure you follow all the updates right here on PokerNews as we bring you all the action!
