The board read when Tom Dwan checked to his opponent Antti Pietarinen who bet 1,300. Dwan threw out a raise to 5,950 and that was enough to get his opponent to fold. Dwan is up to 25,000 chips and doing very well at the start of this tournament.
Kambiz Kashi just opened the pot to 225 getting called by Rifat Palevic and Ted Lawson. The action got folded to Ludovic Lacay who was in the big blind and the Frenchman put out a three-bet to 1,000. All three players called giving us four way action on the flop.
The flop brought out and Lacay checked right away giving the action to Kashi who bet 3,200. Palevic gave it some thought and even asked how much Lacay had behind, 9,000, before folding his cards. Lawson threw in the call and so did Lacay giving us three way action on the turn.
The turn was the and Lacay checked once more to Kashi who decided to move all-in putting Lawson and Lacay to the test. Both players quickly folded giving Kashi a big pot and possibly the early chip lead.

Will Failla is on a hot streak of form since his recent WPT Legends of Poker success but has found himself short-stacked early today in the PLO. We arrived at his table to see more diamonds on the flop than Paris Hiltons dogs collar - . It was obviously a three or four bet pot, Juha Helppi was all-in for 5,125, the pot contained 30,000 total and Failla was the player pondering his next move.
"I cannot believe you would have pushed all-in with the King high flush, especially against the tightest player at the table," said Failla, "I can beat a king high flush and I can beat a set of queens - just not yet!" He finished off before folding his hand.

James Bord WAS occupying a table with his good friend Sam Trickett. We say WAS because he is now stood outside smoking a cigarette and his seat is empty, as is his space where his chips used to be.
