Tournament staff has been constantly moving players from the Brasilia Room to the Miranda Room as the number of entries continues to grow. Jordan Young and Melanie Weisner are a couple of the latest notables to enter the field before the first break of the day.
Jesse Martin put in a bet of 6,000 on a board of 
in early position, and his neighbor on his left put in a raise to 15,000. Martin thought for a couple of minutes and finally opted to call. His opponent turned over 
for tens up, and the 2017 bracelet winner showed 
for tens full.
Greg Raymer is playing at one of the more accessible tables at Amazon Tan today and already attracted some viewers on the rail. They saw "Fossilman" limping along on the button after a few players had limped.
The flop was 
and Charles Elliot bet 600. Robert Cain called, as did Raymer. On the 
turn, Elliot bet 1,600, Cain called, Raymer made it 5,100, and both players folded. Raymer removed his trademark sunglasses and the 2004 WSOP Main Event winner moved up to 67,000.
A player from early position raised to 500 and Jesse Sylvia three-bet to 1,375 from middle position. He was called by the player to his left and the initial raiser. The flop came 
and the action was checked to Sylvia who bet 2,500. The player to his left raised to 7,500 and the player in early position folded. Sylvia called and they were off to the turn.
Both players checked when the 
fell on the turn and the 
completed the board. Sylvia bet 10,000 and his opponent called rather quickly. Sylvia tabled 
and his opponent showed him 
. Sylvia picked up a nice pot early on to get his day started the right way.
After a player in early position opened, Kenny Hallaert three-bet to 1,200 from the cutoff and called a cold four-bet from the player in the small blind of 4,000.
The flop was 
and Hallaert called a bet of 3,000. Both players checked when the fell on turn and the 
completed the board. The player in the small blind tossed out a bet worth 7,200 and Hallaert quickly mucked.
In a hand that occurred on the stream, Vanessa Selbst raised to 400 with 
and got action from Gaelle Baumann on the button (
) and Noah Schwartz in the big blind (
).
The flop came 
and Selbst bet 700. Baumann called and Schwartz folded. On the 
turn, Selbst checked. Baumann bet 1,700 and Selbst made it 5,800. Baumann called. On the 
river, Selbst overbet the pot slightly with 16,200. Baumann moved all in for Selbst's last 20,000 or so.
"Are you serious right now?" Selbst asked nobody in particular. "Oh my God.
"This might be a quick Main Event for me. I don't know if I'm good enough to fold this. I guess you could have ace-seven of hearts so I have to call."
Baumann showed the quads to eliminate Selbst.

In a hand that occurred on the stream, Pierre Delamare called from an early position with

, and Delamare repopped to 1,500. Both opponents called, and they took in a
