O'Donnell Makes the Right Call

With about 3,000 in the pot and the board reading , Kevin O'Donnell checked in late position. His opponent in the cutoff moved all in for roughly 2,700. O'Donnell though for a minute and then called.

O'Donnell's opponent tabled for five-high and a missed straight draw. O'Donnell showed for two pair and took down the pot.

Navarro Catches Lightning

With about 1,100 in the pot and the board reading , Francisco Navarro was in the small blind and led out for 400. Michael Moore was in middle position and called as did a player in the cutoff.

The river was the and Navarro led again but for 1,200 this time. Moore's face told it all as he begrudgingly called and the other opponent in the cutoff folded.

Navarro tabled , having made an aces full of sevens boat on the river. Moore showed for a smaller boat after flopping a set, and Navarro nabbed the pot.

Ken Aldridge is also at this table and commented on how well Moore and Navarro are playing thus far. He said,"Moore has my number today. I make a hand and he has a better one." Aldridge is one of the classiest most enjoyable players around the scene and everyone can spot him a mile away, always wearing his trade mark yellow colors.
