The tournament director has announced the famous words of ''shuffle up and deal'' and action is underway!
If you have been around the Rio the last few days, you may have seen a group of players wearing a Belize T-shirt with “Princess Poker Room” on the back.
These are all players from Belize, on the eastern coast of Central America, who are mentored by Badih "Bob" Bounahra who runs a poker room there. Bob Bounhara was a November Niner back in 2011, finishing seventh for $1,314,097 and he is giving back to his country’s poker community by bringing over a groups of players each year including a freeroll into the Monster Stack.
There are 10 players in the field today and, yesterday, six of them bagged up chips in Day 1a. Can one of them go further that their mentor and grab a bracelet? That’s the dream.
Among the early entrants in today's field are some notables, including two-time bracelet winner Andy Frankenberger, three-time bracelet winner Dutch Boyd, and some other talented players: Joe Kuether, Adam Owen, Michael Wong, Kelly Winterhalter, and Matt Affleck, who will all be looking to get their first bracelet.

The board at the river read .
Jake Didonato led out for 4,200 and one player had a stare at the board but a second opponent paid to see the cards.
Didonato turned over for a flopped set and collected a nice early pot to get off and running.
