Mansour Alipourfard Eliminates an Opponent

Nível 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The player on the button moved all in for just under 80,000. Mansour Alipourfard folded in the small blind, as did the big blind.

In the very next hand, it folded to the same player, who was seated in the small blind this time. He moved all in for 81,000. Alipourfard called in the big blind and showed {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} and was up against the {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} of his opponent.

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{a-Clubs}, and Alipourfard eliminated a player.

Peter Smaha Doubles Through Kevin O'Donnell

Nível 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Kevin O'Donnell opened to 20,000 from early position. Peter Smaha, in the small blind, was the only caller.

The players saw a {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop. Smaha instantly moved all in for a total of 138,000. O'Donnell went deep into the tank before calling.

Peter Smaha: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Kevin O'Donnell: {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

The {10-Diamonds} turn and {7-Spades} river completed the board, and Smaha won this pot.

''Good hand'' said O'Donnell, ''I figured I had the diamond redraw and an ace, too, would be good.'' Smaha just smiled.

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

A player in middle position limped, and Blair Rodman, in the small blind, completed. William Thomson, in the big blind, checked.

The flop ran {5-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. Rodman checked, Thomson bet 12,000, and the player in middle position folded. Rodman called. The turn was the {A-Diamonds}. Rodman checked, Thomson bet 30,000, Rodman raised to 65,000, and now Thomson called. The {8-Spades} on the river completed the board, and both players checked.

Rodman showed {K-Spades}{J-Clubs} for a pair of kings, and Thomson mucked.

A player in middle position raised to 22,000, and Bill Klein called in position.

The flop was {10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{a-Spades}, and both players checked.

The {2-Clubs} turn was checked to Klein, who bet 33,000. His opponent called, and the {6-Spades} came on the river.

Again, action was checked to Klein, who bet 44,000. His opponent called and practically jumped out of his chair in apparent frustration when Klein showed him {a-}{k-}, which was good enough to take down the pot.
