Day 2 started today with 275 players and the knowledge that hand-for-hand play would start quite quickly as 262 players would be cashing in Event #12: $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em. After ten 60-minute levels and a half level at the end, only 23 players remain to compete for the top prize of $391,960 and the gold WSOP bracelet.
Taking the massive chip lead into Day 3 is Melissa Gillett from Australia with 3,443,000 chips. Second in chips is Aditya Agarwal with 1,286,000, and third in the chip counts is Billy Rodgers (1,277,000). Other notables still in contention are Roman Korenev, Phil Collins and David Pham.
