Marc Wlodkowski raised to 1,400 from under the gun, Barry Greenstein called in early position, as did Rocco Lazazzaro, in the hijack, as well as the big blind.

The 8♠K♠4♠ flop saw the action check to Lazazzaro, who bet out 5,000. The big blind folded and Wlodkowski check-raised, moving all in for 20,000. Greenstein got out the way and Lazazzaro called.

Croffut Adds to his Stack

The table was bantering about a reality show on Netflix called, "The Devil's Plan" of which the other players recognized one of the stars as being at that table. In the meantime the player under the gun raised to 1,000 and Adam Croffut called in the cutoff, the small blind and the big blind all called. The flop came out 10♣9♦Q♥ and everyone checked to Croffut who bet out 1,300 and a call was made by the small blind.

On the turn A♠ Croffut bet out again 4,000 once checked to and received the call.

The river 10♦ was where the small blind decided to take the lead and bet out 4,300 and Croffut just called.

The small blind turned over A♥J♣ and Croffut held A♦Q♠ to take down the pot with aces and queens.

Folding Because of the Sandwich

On the turn 8♣7♠J♣K♦, four-time bracelet winner Jeff Madsen bet 4,200 from early position and got a call from Cassandra Yong in middle position.

The river came the Q♣, bringing in a possible flush and a couple more straight options. Madsen thought about it and checked. Yong was in the middle of her lunch, consisting of a sandwich and some potato chips, and, after a moment, bet 15,000.

Madsen was trying but had trouble getting a look at his opponent, as they were sitting in seats 1 and 9 with the dealer blocking the view.

Seeing him look over, Yong cheerfully asked: “Oh, you want to talk to me?” and seemed very open to having a lunchtime conversation. Madsen at first confirmed but then quickly shook his head and pushed his cards towards the dealer.

“The sandwich got me to fold,” he said, while Yong smilingly collected his chips.
