Hellmuth Chipping Up

Nível 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Phil Hellmuth raised to 6,000 from the cutoff and was called by Marius Kudzmanas in the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of 4105, Kudzmanas checked, Hellmuth bet 10,000 and Kudzmanas called.

Action checked through on the 4 turn card and the A river card. Hellmuth tabled QQ, which was good enough to win this modest pot.

Daniel Sepiol managed to land himself a double-up with a little help from the river card.

Palma Bluffs Phan Then Pays Off Rost

Nível 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Nick Palma
Nick Palma

With over 50,000 chips in the middle on a board of 3A595, Nick Palma had shoved the river for around 40,000 into Lynn Phan. It took a while for Phan to make a decision but eventually she folded and flashed the A to the table. Palma then immediately tabled KQ for a bluff, and raked in the pot.

In the next hand, Justin Rost limped under the gun and Aditya Systla made it 9,000 on the button. Palma called from the big blind, and Rost also called.

The three players saw a flop of 565 which was checked to the 3 turn. Palma bet 7,500, and only Rost called.

On the K river, Palma checked, Rost bet 9,000, and Palma eventually called.

Rost showed K4 for a rivered pair of kings, and Palma mucked.
