Today sees the start of Event #94: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed Championship here at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.
This three-day event gets underway at 2 p.m. local time, with late registration open for 11 levels (about 2 p.m. on Day 2). This event does not allow any reentries. There will be 15-minute breaks every two levels.
The starting stack is 60,000 chips, with the plan for Day 1 to play ten 60-minute levels. For the surviving players or late registrants, Day 2 resumes at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, where another ten levels will play out. The winner will be determined the following day.
Last year’s event attracted a field of 550 entries, generating a prize pool of $5,115,000. The winner was Alexandre Reard who defeated Stephen Chidwick heads up to win $1,057,663 and his second WSOP bracelet.
