Jaros Eliminates Lambe

Nível 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Patrick Jaros bet the maximum from the big blind into a pot of around 300,000 on the flop of 7105. The bet was effective for Dylan Lambe’s stack of 110,000. Lambe called the all in. According to the players, Lambe had raised preflop from the button and called a three-bet from Jaros.

Dylan Lambe: KQJ4All in
Patrik Jaros: AJ108

Lambe needed help, and while the turn 9 brought in a great draw for him, the king-high flush draw and a wrap, it also hit Jaros‘s gutshot straight. The river was the relative brick, the 5, and Lambe was eliminated.

McCullough Eliminates Caiaffa and Is the Chip Leader

Nível 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Rafael Caiaffa raised from the cutoff and was called by Tsugunari Toma in the small blind. Patrick McCullough was in the big blind and three-bet to 225,000. Caiaffa called, as did Toma.

The flop came 3410. McCullough bet 500,000. Caiaffa went all in and Toma folded. McCullough called and had Caiaffa covered.

Rafael Caiaffa: AJ1010 All in
Patrick McCullough: AAQ9

Caiaffa had top set and McCullough had aces with the nut flush draw. Diamonds were the main threat for Caiaffa, but the turn brought something worse, the case ace, the A. This crippled Caiaffa, who was then drawing just to one out on the river.

The river was the 6, bringing in the flush for McCullough and Caiaffa‘s tournament was over.

Maddocks Eliminates Sun

Nível 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

On the last hand before the break, Kailun Sun raised from the button to 50,000. The small blind folded and Michael Maddocks three-bet to 150,000 from the big blind. Sun was left with a big decision, as she only had around 270,000 to start the hand. After some thinking, she put her stack in the middle and Maddocks called for the rest of it.

Kailun Sun: AJ65All in
Michael Maddocks: AA76

The flop A29 gave Maddocks top set and all but ended Sun‘s tournament.

The turn 6 already had her drawing dead, 4 was the meaningless river.
