Smith Shorts Naim

Nível 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Action was caught from the river with the 9102610 board already dealt. The pot stood at around 125,000 and Elliot Smith was all in for around 180,000 from the button. Action was then on Gal Naim to make the call from an early position for pretty much his entire stack.

Naim took some time before making the call and the players flipped their hands.

Elliot Smith: 22All in
Gal Naim: A10

Smith showed pocked deuces for the boat whilst Naim had a set of tens.

Naim was left with four chips worth 4,000 after the hand and moved all in blind from under the gun. There were two callers before the small blind raised, and left the players to go heads up, giving Naim a chance to multiply his stack.

Gal Naim: J5All in
Small blind: KQ

Naim saw his hand at the same time as the other players on the table but wasn't looking strong after seeing the small blind's king queen.

The Q7J flop teased Naim giving him middle pair, but the small blind hit top pair.

The 6 and 8 completed the board and Naim was sent home with a minimum cash after just making the money.

Tepeh Makes 50/50 Call

Nível 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Tjan Tepeh was in the tank on the river, with a decision for his tournament life on the line. The board read 995A10.

Tepeh had about 264,000 behind and the big blind had forced him all in with a pot of around 200,000 in the middle.

Tepeh looked in two minds and truly torn on what his decision should be.

"Please give me something bro", he said to his silent opponent. "I will give you 20 seconds to say something" he continued but as his opponent stayed silent, it looked like Tepeh was about to slide his cards into the muck but at the last moment he tossed in the one chip call.

"Good call" said his opponent and tabled the 107 which Tepeh had bested with the AQ and he raked in the large pot.
