Finger was in rough shape but picked up an open ender after the K♣10♦6♣ flop. Two of those outs were removed after the 8♣ turn as Bloch had a flush draw. The 9♠ river completed Finger's straight and Bloch smacked the table rail before giving his opponent a thumbs up along with a portion of his stack.
Shundan Xiao opened to 60,000 from the hijack and was called by Janelle Jacobson in the cutoff and Pol Vela in the big blind for a three-way pot.
Action checked through on the K♣10♠7♠ flop and then Vela led out for 75,000 on the J♠ turn. Xiao raised to 160,000, which got a quick folded from Jacobson and a call from Vela.
Both players checked on the 4♦ river and Vela turned over 10♣7♣ for a flopped two pair. Xiao couldn't beat it and mucked — conceding the pot to Vela.
Jonathan Little predicted David Simon was going to win the tournament after Simon beat him in a pot earlier this level, but that lasted only a few minutes.
Simon had fallen down to around 350,000 when he moved all in from the cutoff. Hiroki Nawa was in the big blind and called to put Simon at risk.
