The superior ace paired up with the K♥8♥4♦ flop but a sweat followed with the J♥ turn. Nothing changed on the 3♠ river and Tamayo doubled.

One hand later, Abdullah Al-Shanti raised to 60,000 and folded when Jim Reid moved all-in for 405,000 by placing the chips near the shot glass.

Montoya Takes from Kenny

Jeffrey Kenny raised from under the gun to 65,000 with A♥Q♦ and Tyler Montoya called from the cutoff with J♠J♣.

The flop came 8♣3♦3♣ and Kenny checked. Montoya opted to bet 60,000 and Kenny raised to 180,000.

The turn came 10♥ and Kenny bet 350,000. Montoya called.

The 7♥ river didn't change anything and Montoya had the best hand. Kenny checked and Montoya took the pot after checking back.

Heads-up on a flop of Q♥7♠5♥, Kenneth Kim bet 225,000 from the cutoff and Karol Masarovic called in middle position.

The turn was the 3♣ and Kim bet another 325,000. Masarovic again called to see the 10♠ river.

Kim then moved all in and Masarovic, with around 1,200,000 remaining, tanked for a minute before folding.

Nakladal Delivers a One-Two Blow to Eliminate Crockett

A brutal two hands for Adam Crockett saw him eliminated from the Main Event.

Firstly, Crocket opened the hijack to 65,000 and got called by Jan Nakladal on the button & Carlos Sanchez Diaz in the big blind.

On the 3♠7♦4♠ flop, Diaz checked, Crockett bet 75,000, and only Nakladal called.

The 10♠ landed on the turn and Crockett fired another bet of 225,000 into the pot, which Nakladal called.

Crockett slowed down with a check on the A♣ river, and Nakladal made a bet of 500,000. Crockett thought it about it for a while before he made the call.

Nakladal tabled A♠9♠ for the nut flush, and Crockett mucked saying he had 6x5x for a straight.

The very next hand, Crockett shoved for 150,000 from middle position and Nakladal made the call from the cutoff.

Crockett flopped a Royal Flush draw but couldn't connect with any of his outs as the board ran out K♠Q♠7♣5♦K♥, which ended his Main Event run.

Even if Finger asked for clubs, the board of 3♦A♠4♣Q♦8♥ didn't change anything and they split the pot.

McCullagh Gets the Double

James Tian was on the feature table and raised from a middle position to 55,000 with K♥Q♣ and Ciaran McCullagh moved all in from the hijack for 325,000 with A♠K♠. Tian maked the call, and the players flipped their hands.

The 4♠J♣5♦9♥2♣ runout gave little sweat and McCullagh secured the double.

In the next hand, Tian jammed for his remaining stack and got it through, collecting the blinds.

Lin Gives Howard a Warning

Ren Lin opened to 60,000 from middle position before Nicholas Howard made it 180,000 on his direct left. Action folded back to Lin and he called.

The Q♥7♦6♥ flop checked through to the 9♦ turn. Lin led out for 225,000 and was called. The 10♥ river then checked through to showdown.

Lin had a pair of tens with his J♣10♣ but Howard had that beat with his KxQx, which was goof for top pair.

"King-queen off? You've no future today," said Lin, prompting a few laughs from the table.

Reid Saves One Time; Doubles Through Tamayo

Jonathan Tamayo raised to 60,000 and Diogo Veiga called. Abdullah Al-Shanti three-bet to 190,000 in the big blind and forced two folds.

A few hands later, Rec Poker Jim Reid was in the big blind and the entire table folded to Tamayo in the small blind, who pushed all-in.

Reid double-checked his cards, declared he was saving his one time and called all-in for 195,000.

"Keep the cards low," Reid asked but had a sweat on the J♣10♦4♠ flop and Q♥ turn. The river was the 2♠ and Reid doubled.

"I still have my one time, right here in the pocket," the jovial Canadian said.

Al-Shanti replied "you didn't use your shot glass", which Reid had been doing previously to wager all of his chips.
