Nicholas Hobbs opened the action with a raise to 18,000 from early position. Players folded one by one before Richard Hare was ready to put his Main Event life on the line, moving all in for 182,000 from the small blind. Hobbs made the call.

Dibernardi Wins With Ace-High as Jorstad Drops Out

Selahaddin Bedir in early position and David Dibernardi in the cutoff were fighting over a pot of 125,000 chips. Bedir checked on the 1092 flop before Dibernardi fired 35,000 chips.

Bedir called and the rest of the 97 runout was checked through. Bedir tabled AQ for ace-high, but Dibernardi won with AK for a better ace-high.

Just before the hand, Espen Jorstad was eliminated on an adjacent table.
