Shuyang Han, in the big blind, took the lead for 12,000. The under-the-gun player folded and Ryan Riess, on the button, made the call.
The K♦ river saw Han size up, betting out for 31,000, sending Riess deep into the tank. Riess finally concluded on a call and Han tabled 8♠3♠. Reiss rolled over J♣10♣ for second pair, winning him this pot.
Mikiyo Aoki was down to a few chips early in the day but has since recovered well. She most recently eliminated an opponent on a board of 10xKx6xKxAx when she had the A♣8♣ and her opponent had the J♥8♦.
