Laak Runs His Bluff by Cucchiara, Plus Selected Paris Purple Counts

The action was caught with a full board having been delt 687K5.

Phil Laak, in the big blind, bet out 12,000. Laak's opponent in early position went deep into the tank, finally choosing to fold. Laak quickly flashed J10 to the table, for just jack high, as he raked in the pot.

Laak jokingly asked Frank Cucchiara, who was also at the table, whether a sovler would have approved the play.

"I do what the computer tells me to do," joked Laak "No free will anymore!" he continued.

Nines Enough For Howard

Nicholas Richards opened to 8,500 from the hijack and was called by Nicholas Howard in the small blind and the player in the big blind for a three-way pot.

Action checked to Richards, who bet 8,500 on the 3Q9 flop. Both Howard and the big blind called.

All three players checked down on the 8 turn and 5 river. Howard tabled 109 for a pair of nines and both his opponents mucked to send the pot Howard's way.

Sopotnytskyi Ends Nold's Run

Derek Nold had his entire stack of around 55,000 in the middle from the hijack and had been called by [Removed:496] on the button & the big blind.

On the 1065 flop, the big blind checked, Sopotnytskyi bet 75,000, and the big blind folded.

Nold was looking to improve but neither the 2 turn nor K river could keep him alive.

As the river was dealt, the big blind slammed his fist onto the table and revealed that he had AK.

"I should have shoved over you pre," said the big blind.

The action was caught as Dwayne Pelham, in the cutoff, was all in and at risk for his effective stack of 40,500, against Marcelo Giordano, in middle position.

The dealer fanned the action flop of 8103; Pelham had made a set, but Giordano picked up outs to a flush draw. The Q turn gave Giordano even more outs to make Broadway.

"Don't do me like that," Pelham politely said to the dealer. However, the J river did not oblige, completing Giordano's flush.

"Straight flush!" Giordano joked to the table.

Oberhauser Over a Million

Oberhauser's opponent check-called a 5,000 bet from Oberhauser on the Q610 flop and the both players checked down on the 10 turn and 4 river.

The big blind turned over 97 for a whiffed draw and Oberhauser tabled K5, which was enough to take down the pot.

Morciladze Doubles Through Le, Aces vs. Kings
