Jerry Wong opened the action with a raise to 2,500 in middle position. Thong Ho three-bet to 9,000 in the small blind and Wong called.

Ho continued for 10,000 on a rainbow 4♦5♥10♠ flop and Wong made the call.

The turn 8♦ rolled off and Ho sized-up to 15,000. Wong called once more.

The river 6♠ hit the felt and Ho moved all in for 56,200. Wong went into the tank for almost ten minutes, ultimately settling on a call. Ho flipped over K♥K♦ and it was good against Wong's Q♥Q♠.

Sichelstiel Outkicks Lanes

A player limped in in early position and Richard Lanes called in the small blind and Robert Sichelstiel checked his option in the big blind.

The flop rolled out 10♦5♣K♥ and everyone checked to the 8♦ turn where Lanes bet 2,000 which saw only Sichelstiel call.

On the river 6♠, Lanes sized up to 4,000 and Sichelstiel called.

Lanes tabled K♠4♠ for a pair of kings and Sichelstiel turned over K♣J♦ for a pair of kings with jack kicker was good for the pot.

With the late registration still open, the waves of new entries have certainly slowed down but at least 561 players entered Day 2d thus far to ensure the tournament would set yet another attendance record.

Among the latest to join was renowned actor Kevin Pollak, who was greeted by none other than Jack Effel before he headed to the registration desk. Pollak has two cashes in the WSOP Main Event to his name for a combined $68,688.

Michaud Shows the Bluff

Toan Nguyen raised to 2,00 from early position, and once it folded to Igor Kurganov on the button, he made the call. The big blind Vaughn Michaud also called to see a flop.

The flop came 2♣4♦A♥ and Michaud checked to Nguyen who bet 2,500. Kurganov folded, and Michaud made the call.

Both players checked after the 9♦ on the turn.

After the 9♣ on the river, Michaud bet out 5,000. Nguyen decided to throw his cards in the muck and give the pot to Michaud.

After the hand was over Michaud tabled 10♠5♥ to show Nguyen he was bluffing.

In the 11th episode, Connor speaks with Dan "Jungleman" Cates about accountability in poker, his notorious heads-up challenge with Tom Dwan, Game of Gold, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, mindfulness in poker and his new podcast Winning the Game of Life.

Cates also talked about his iconic Poker Players Championship outfits and a six-figure downswing he experienced at Bellagio during the summer.

This interview was filmed at the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) inside Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.

Melanie Weisner had already raised from the cutoff and was three-bet to 7,000 by Nhan Nguyen on the button. Action folded back to Weisner, who made it 18,000 to go. Nguyen called.

Weisner shoved for 42,000 on the 10♥Q♣9♣ flop and Nguyen called to put Weisner at risk after tanking for a bit.

Nhan Nguyen: J♥J♠

Weisner was ahead, but still had plenty of outs to fade. The Q♥7♣ runout bricked out for Nguyen, however, and Weisner was awarded the double up with her kings.
