Kings vs. Queens, Ho Doubles

Jerry Wong opened the action with a raise to 2,500 in middle position. Thong Ho three-bet to 9,000 in the small blind and Wong called.

Ho continued for 10,000 on a rainbow 4510 flop and Wong made the call.

The turn 8 rolled off and Ho sized-up to 15,000. Wong called once more.

The river 6 hit the felt and Ho moved all in for 56,200. Wong went into the tank for almost ten minutes, ultimately settling on a call. Ho flipped over KK and it was good against Wong's QQ.

Sichelstiel Outkicks Lanes

A player limped in in early position and Richard Lanes called in the small blind and Robert Sichelstiel checked his option in the big blind.

The flop rolled out 105K and everyone checked to the 8 turn where Lanes bet 2,000 which saw only Sichelstiel call.

On the river 6, Lanes sized up to 4,000 and Sichelstiel called.

Lanes tabled K4 for a pair of kings and Sichelstiel turned over KJ for a pair of kings with jack kicker was good for the pot.

Pollak Enters the Main Event

With the late registration still open, the waves of new entries have certainly slowed down but at least 561 players entered Day 2d thus far to ensure the tournament would set yet another attendance record.

Among the latest to join was renowned actor Kevin Pollak, who was greeted by none other than Jack Effel before he headed to the registration desk. Pollak has two cashes in the WSOP Main Event to his name for a combined $68,688.

Michaud Shows the Bluff

Toan Nguyen raised to 2,00 from early position, and once it folded to Igor Kurganov on the button, he made the call. The big blind Vaughn Michaud also called to see a flop.

The flop came 24A and Michaud checked to Nguyen who bet 2,500. Kurganov folded, and Michaud made the call.

Both players checked after the 9 on the turn.

After the 9 on the river, Michaud bet out 5,000. Nguyen decided to throw his cards in the muck and give the pot to Michaud.

After the hand was over Michaud tabled 105 to show Nguyen he was bluffing.

Weisner Enters and Immediately Doubles With Cowboys

Melanie Weisner had already raised from the cutoff and was three-bet to 7,000 by Nhan Nguyen on the button. Action folded back to Weisner, who made it 18,000 to go. Nguyen called.

Weisner shoved for 42,000 on the 10Q9 flop and Nguyen called to put Weisner at risk after tanking for a bit.

Weisner was ahead, but still had plenty of outs to fade. The Q7 runout bricked out for Nguyen, however, and Weisner was awarded the double up with her kings.

Wolfe's Cowboys Crack Aces

Bradley Wolfe and an early position player got their stacks in with the latter at risk for over 57,000 chips.

It looked as if Wolfe would need to send a chunk of his chips over to his opponent but a runout of 673K10 improved him to a set of kings.
