Dai's Set Sends Out Gofman

Nível 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Andrew Mizak opened 2,500 in early position and Victor Dai called in the cutoff before Aleksandr Gofman moved all in for 16,600 on the button. Mizak got out of the way, but Dai made the call.

Aleksandr Gofman: KQ All in
Victor Dai: 1010

The Q105 flop gave Gofman top pair but unfortunately for him, Dai flopped a set. The 9 turn gave some hope with a gutshot straight draw but the 2 river was a brick as Gofman stood up from the table.

After about 30 seconds he called it. Qasem tabled the 87 for just a pair of sevens and Tishkevich tabled his A5 nut flush to take from the big stack.

"It really looked like a a full house" said Tishkevich as he stacked his chips.

"It was supposed to," replied Qasem.
