Ackerman Gets One Past Young

Nível 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The board read 998A2 on the river. Justin Young bet 6,500 from the cutoff into a pot of 12,500. Christopher Ackerman was in the small blind and raised to 16,000 which was for nearly all his chips as he left just 100 chips behind.

Young mulled it over and studied Ackerman. And eventually he made the decision to fold. "Good bluff" he said which Ackerman neither confirmed nor denied.

Brewer Gets Paid

Nível 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Action was picked up on the turn with roughly 13,000 in the pot and a board showing 4910Q.

Tristan Bain in early position checked to Chris Brewer on the button. Brewer bet out 8,000 and was called by Bain.

The river card was the 3 and after Bain checked to Brewer, he bet out 30,000. Bain wasted little time making the call and was shown 86 by Brewer for a flopped flush. Bain mucked his cards and gave the pot to Brewer.

Grossglauser Doubles Through Sharpe

Nível 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Robert Grossglauser had moved all in preflop for roughly 20,000 chips over an open from Max Sharpe. Sharpe snap-called and the cards were revealed.

Robert Grossglauser : AA All in
Max Sharpe : KK

The flop fell A2K improving both players to a set. The 2 on the turn and 4 river didn't bring Sharpe the one outer he needed to eliminate Grossglauser.

Pora's Overbet Gets Paid for Table Lead

Nível 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Dumitru-Adrian Pora and Margarita Stoycheva were heads up on a completed board of QK578. Stoycheva checked from the big blind to Pora in the hijack.

He then fired 39,500 into a pot of 35,000. Stoycheva asked her opponent if he would show if she folded but chucked in a call after getting no response.

Pora tabled KQ for top two pair and he was shipped the big pot as Stoycheva's cards hit the muck.

Lo Pays Off Shak's Boat

Nível 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Kuenwai Lo opened to 2,200 from early position and received calls from Dan Shak in middle position as well as a player in the big blind.

The big blind checked following the 88K flop and Lo continued for 2,500. Shak called while the big blind folded to send the two remaining players to the turn.

Action checked through the Q turn to the K river at which point Lo checked once more. Shak bet 15,000, more than the size of the pot. Lo did not seem happy about it but did make the call, though he quickly mucked after Shak turned over KJ for the full house.

Ernest Raises the River

Nível 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Kimitaka Mori opened 2,500 under the gun and Michael Ernest called from a couple of spots to his left.

The dealer fanned a flop of AJJ, and Mori continued for 2,200. Ernest called.

The 9 fell on the turn, and Mori dropped 5,500 across the line. Ernest stuck around as he tossed in a call.

When the 7 completed the board on the river, Mori pushed a green chip across the line for a bet of 25,000. Ernest put in a raise to 55,000, putting Mori in the tank for about two minutes before his cards hit the muck.

"Good fold," Ernest said as he pitched his cards into the muck.

Bickley Beats Nuwwarah in Showdown

Nível 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Prior to the break, Mo Nuwwarah had won a larger pot but he just lost most of the profit to the UK's Robert Bickley.

Three ways to the K97 flop, Bickley checked in the big blind and so did Kevin Theodore in the cutoff. Nuwwarah on the button made it 3,500 to go and Bickley was the only caller.

After the Q turn, Bickley check-called for another 11,000 and they both checked the A on the river. Bickley tabled the K10 and took down the pot. Despite losing this pot, Nuwwarah and Theodore remain the biggest stacks at the table.
