With 6,000 chips in the pot on a board of Q5K4, Konstantinos Papanikos bet 4,500 and Martin De Knijff raised to 13,500. Papanikos called.

A board-pairing 4 fell on the river which was quickly checked by both players. Papanikos tabled 73 for a flush, and De Knijff mucked.

Tackett Knocks Two Off the Pot

Peter Columbia raised to 600 from the cutoff, Jonathan Tackett called in the small blind and Stephen Graner three-bet to 3,000 from the big blind. Both players called.

The action checked to Graner, who bet out 4,000 on the 648 flop. Columbia called and Tackett check-raised to 12,000. Both Graner and Columbia took their time to fold.

As Trackett raked in the pot, he flashed the 4 to the table.

Elia Ahmadian raised under the gun to 400 and Jay Gilbert three-bet from the next seat to 1,400. The rest of the table folded and Ahmadian called.

On the Q64 flop, Ahmadian check-called a bet of 1,100.

An 8 landed on the turn and after Ahmadian checked, Gilbert fired 4,100. Ahmadian called.

The 2 completed the runout and both players elected to check it down. Ahmadian tabled K9 for a missed flush draw, and Gilbert took it down with A7 for ace-high.

Riegelhaupt Forces a Fold From Hansen

Gus Hansen raised to 500 first-to-act and was called by Cory Riegelhaupt in the cutoff and the player in the big blind.

Action checked to Riegelhaupt on the K510 flop and he continued for 1,000. Hansen called and the big blind folded.

Hansen check-called a 2,500 bet from Riegelhaupt on the 4 turn, but check-folded after a lengthy tank facing a 4,000 bet from Riegelhaupt on the 10 river.

Mizrachi Lights a Fire

At Chris Moneymaker's table, Robert Mizrachi opened to 400 from under the gun, but Mariano Gondolo to his left three-bet to 1,300. Gaurav Sood was next to act and he four-bet to 4,400.

All the other players folded to Mizrachi who gave his cards to the dealer, but Gondolo eventually five-bet to 10,800. Sood went into the tank, and called.

Gondolo continued for 5,000 on a flop of 546. Sood called, then after Gondolo fired a second barrel of 10,000 on the 2 river, Sood folded.

Wood Calls at the Buzzer

The clock was called as Christopher Wood was in the tank. The board was a straight 74685 on the river. Wood was facing a bet of 11,000 from the big blind Charles Honkonen into a pot of roughly the same amount.

The floor came over to start the countdown and just as the count reached 1 second, Wood tossed in the call.

Honkonen said he was playing the board and Wood tabled the 98 winner with the higher straight.

Shorr and Luenzer Check it Down

Shannon Shorr opened under the gun to 500 and was immediately three-bet to 1,700 by Dirk Luenzer in the seat next to him. Shorr made the call.

Both players checked the hand all the way down on the AKJ58 runout. Shorr turned over 65 for a pair of fives. Luenzer flipped over QQ for a pair of queens to claim the pot.

Perzinski Finds the Right Call

Action was picked up with four players seeing a board of 235 and about 1,500 in the middle. Action checked around to Brian Perzinski who bet 700 from the cutoff. Helmut Roy raised to 2,000 from the button and only Perzinski called.

Both remaining players checked the 7 turn leading to the 10 river. Perzinski checked, Roy bet 2,100 and Perzinski called.

Roy could only show KJ for a bluff while Perzinski tabled 44 for just a pair of fours to take the pot.
