2024 World Series of Poker
2021 Main Event champion Koray Aldemir has joined the field in the first few minutes of Day 1b.
Colten Yamagishi called from the small blind and Radoslav Stoyanov checked from the big blind.
The flop came Q♣Q♥K♠ and Yamagishi was quick to check. Stoyanov fired for 200 and received a call from Yamagishi.
While the turn and river peeled the 2♣9♥ both players checked their option.
Stoyanov showed J♥6♣ to take the pot.
Frode Alfredsen opened the action from under the gun with a raise to 600. Players folded around to the big blind who defended.
Alfredsen continued for 800 on K♦10♣4♣ and his opponent called.
The turn 8♥ rolled off and Alfredsen fired 1,500. Once again, the big blind made the call.
The big blind led for 3,500 on the 8♠ river and Alfredsen called. The big blind rolled over J♣10♦ but it was second best to Alfredsen's A♥K♥.
Heads-up on a flop of 3♠K♣10♥, a player in the small blind bet 1,000 and Eliran Argelazi raised to 3,000 in the cutoff. The small blind called to see the 8♠ turn.
Both players then checked and the K♦ fell on the river. The small blind led out for another 2,000 and Argelazi raised again, putting in 10,000. His opponent took a minute before folding as Argelazi took down the pot.
With three players seeing a board of J♣10♣2♥ and about 7,000 in the middle a player in the big blind bet 3,500 and was called by Chanracy Khun in early position while a player in the cutoff folded.
On the 8♥ turn the big blind bet 8,000 and was called by Khun.
The big blind checked on the 9♠ river. Khun bet 24,000 and after taking a minute or two to weigh his options the big blind mucked K♥K♣ face up.
A player opened to 500 in early position which saw Jeff Muncy call in the small blind and Erick Lindgren defended his big blind.
The flop rolled out 10♣9♠9♣ and Muncy checked over to Lindgren who bet 500 and both players called.
Action checked through on the turn 10♠ to the river 6♣ and Lindgren bet 1,400 when checked to, which only Muncy called.
"I missed," the WSOP bracelet winner said as he tabled Q♣8♠ for just queen-high, which was no good against Muncy who held A♠K♣ for ace-high and he raked in the pot.
Action was picked up on the flop in a pot between Erik Seidel in the cutoff and Brice Cournut in the big blind with the board showing Q♠3♣8♣.
Cournut checked-called the bet of 500 from Seidel to see a turn.
After the J♠ on the turn Cournut checked to Seidel once more and he fired out a bet of 2,400. Cournut gave it some thought before letting his hand go and gave the pot to Seidel.
