The flop rolled out 8♦3♦2♠, prompting a check from Einhorn over to Schroeder who bet 900 which Einhorn called.

On the turn 7♠, both players checked and the river 5♠ saw Einhorn bet out to the tune of 2,100, eliciting a quick fold.

After he finished 32nd of the Main Event last year, Mark Teltscher is in Day 1b and defended from the big blind to find a flop of 10♦Q♣A♦ where the button bet 1,000. The small blind folded, but Teltscher check-called.

Both players checked the J♣ turn, but on the 6♥ river, Teltscher led out for 1,500.

The button called with Q♠10♣ for two pair, but saw the pot go in Teltscher's direction as he had Q♦J♥.

The flop came 10♠2♣8♠ and Chiodetti check-called a 1,000 bet from Mather.

Chiodetti check-called another bet from Mather on the Q♦ turn, this time for 2,000.

Both players checked the 7♣ river. Chiodetti announced that he only had a two before showing K♠2♠. Mather tabled Q♥10♥ for two pair and took the pot.

Under the gun opened the action with a raise to 500. The hijack player called before the cutoff three-bet to 2,200. Kinesh Pather four-bet to 9,000 from the button before the hijack five-bet to 26,000. Pather moved all in for his last 36,400 and his opponent snap called.

The board ran out 6♦4♣10♦3♦2♦ and Pather found a little help from the deck to double up and extend his tournament life.

Delaguardia Wins a Small One

Yukako Hiroi opened to 400 from the cutoff and then called after Jose Delaguardia three-bet to 1,600 out of the small blind.

Delaguardia continued for 800 on the 10♥10♠3♠ flop and that bet alone was enough to take a small pot off of Hiroi.

Action folded to Josh Arieh in the cutoff, and he raised to 600. After it folded it Jerry Huff in the small blind, he three-bet to 2200. The big blind folded, and Arieh made the call.

Hwang continued for 1,500 on A♠8♥6♥ and the under-the-gun player obliged with a call.

The dealer put out the J♦ turn and Hwang sized up to 2,700, but after some thought, his opponent mucked.

Fukata Raises Knechtel on the River

Heads-up on a flop of J♦Q♦3♥, Masafumi Fukata bet 1,400 from the button and Gary Knechtel called in early position.

The turn was the 10♦ and Fukata bet another 3,000. Knechtel called to see the A♥ river, where he led out for 2,000.

Fukata then raised to 6,000 and Knechtel called with A♣J♥ for two pair. Fukata showed K♥8♥ for a rivered straight as Knechtel leaned over the table to get a closer look at the board.

"I just wanted to make sure I had you before the river, which I think I did. It's my favorite part of the game, the river," Knechtel said.

The flop rolled out Q♦4♥3♣ and the big blind checked over to Lindgren who bet 700 which only the big blind called.

On the turn 6♥, the big blind checked a second time over to Lindgren who bet 2,400 and the big blind called.

Action on the river checked over to Lindgren who sized up to 7,000 which saw his opponent look back at his cards and then fold his hand.

Lindgren flashed a K♥ as the pot was pushed his way.
