Moncek Gets Right After It

After joining the tournament after first break, Michael Moncek raised all in for 60,000 from middle position. Action then folded to the big blind David Lin, who made the call with 52,500 chips, putting himself at risk.

Lin drew one card, and Moncek stood pat.

Lin would have lots of outs against Moncek's queen-10, and when Lin drew 2x it improved him to am eight-six, to leave Moncek short.

Glaser paired up with another 8x and headed to the exit as Kahle Burns jumped in on his second bullet.

Vieira Strong Day Continues

Joao Vieira raised to 10,000 from the cutoff, before being three-bet by Mike Watson to 35,000 in the big blind. Vieira decided to make the call.

Watson stood pat while Vieira drew one card.

Both players checked and Watson tabled Jx10x9x4x2x while Vieira showed Jx10x7x6x4x to take down the pot.

Riess Doubles on Second Bullet; Multiple Fall

Ryan Riess, Galen Hall, and Majid Yahyaei all drew one card, after which Riess checked out of the big blind. Hall made a bet of 20,000 in the hijack and Yahyaei called on the button.

Riess then jammed all in for 45,000 and Hall made a reluctant call before Yahyaei found a fold.

Riess tabled 8x7x6x5x3x for the worst eight, beating the 9x5x4x3x2x of Hall, who played the best nine.

Rocco Goes for Max Value Again

Robert Mizrachi opened to 10,00 from the cutoff, and when it folded to the big blind Michael Rocco, he made the call.

Both players drew one card.

After the players drew, Rocco checked to Mizrachi who bet out 16,000. Rocco then raised to 80,000. Mizrachi wasted little time in making the call, and Rocco tabled 8x7x6x4x2x. Mizrachi was in disbelief as he threw his hand into the muck and Rocco took in another big pot.
