Dreese Raises Funkhouser

Nível 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 25,000 ante

David Funkhouser and Michael Dreese were post-draw, where Funkhouser made a bet of 65,000 from the hijack. Dreese then raised to 250,000, and Funkhouser folded his cards after deliberating for a while.

"Good fold," said Dreese as he tabled 7x6x5x4x2x for a seven-low.

Hwang Breaks Wrongly

Nível 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 25,000 ante

Andy Hwang raised to 40,000 under the gun and was called by Antonio Seremet on the button. Michel Leibgorin then three-bet to 140,000 in the small blind and Hwang jammed all in for 415,000.

Seremet rejammed for 560,000, forcing Leibgorin out. Hwang drew one and Seremet took one as well. As soon as Hwang saw Liebgorin draw one card, he yelled out in agony.

Andy Hwang: 7x5x4x2x All in
Antonio Seremet: 7x5x3x2x

Hwang flipped over another 5x for a pair of fives, and Seremet made the best hand with a Jx, eliminating Hwang who claimed to have broken the best hand.

On another table, Robert Campbell bit the dust, leaving the 20 remaining players to redraw across three tables.

Campbell Takes Out Himmelspach

Nível 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 25,000 ante

Chad Himmelspach jammed for 95,000 from under the gun. In the hijack, Robert Campbell rejammed for 180,000 and all subsequent action folded.

Himmelspach took two while Campbell patted with a made jack.

Himmelspach was drawing to 7x6x4x. Unfortunately for him, the first card he peeled paired his 4x followed by an irrelevant 3x as he hit the rail in 23rd place.

Leibgorin Doubles Against Two-Draw

Nível 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 25,000 ante

Andy Hwang raised to 30,000 and Michael Johnston called on the button. Michel Leibgorin then jammed all in for 190,000 in the big blind, and only Johnston called.

Leibgorin stood pat before Johnston drew two cards.

Michel Leibgorin: 9x8x7x6x2x All in
Michael Johnston: 7x3x2x

Johnston turned over a 10x first, leaving the 5x he drew as his second card futile.

Kenneth Po
Kenneth Po

Michael Johnston raised to 25,000 in the cutoff and button Antonio Seremet called on the button. Kenneth Po then jammed all in for 108,000 in the big blind, and both players called.

Po stood pat, Johnston drew one card, and Seremet drew two. The action checked around, and Po tabled 9x7x6x5x2x for a nine-seven.

That bested Johnston's 10x8x5x4x3x, but Seremet's 8x6x5x4x2x took down the pot with an eight-low.

Po said his goodbyes and exited the tournament in 24th place.

Johnston Catches Leibgorin's Hand in the Cookie Jar

Nível 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 18,000 ante

Michel Leibgorin opened the hijack to 35,000 and Michael Johnston defended his big blind.

Johnston stood pat and Leibgorin decided to pat behind. Johnston checked and Leibgorin cut out a bet of 56,000. Johnston went deep into the tank as he contemplated his bluff-catcher. He ultimately landed on the correct decision as he put in the call and Leibgorin announced that he had paired while Johnston rolled over 10x9x4x3x2x for the winner.

"It's the only way I can play it," explained Leibgorin.
