Massive Cooler on Flop

Nível 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Action was picked up on the flop between three players with the board showing 4♥5♦3♣ with Peter Alson from under the gun position all in for 20,000, another player in the small blind all in for 74,100, and Allen Jersak calling with slightly more chips to put them both at risk from the big blind.

Peter Alson: A♣2♣ All in
Small blind: 4♠4♦ All in
Allen Jersak: 5♥5♣

It was a massive cooler as the small blind and Jersak both flopped a set, and Alson flopped a wheel. When the board ran out K♥ on the turn, and 10♥ on the river, it was Alson the winner of the main pot with his flopped straight. But Jersak was able to win a big side pot with his set of fives, while also eliminating a player.

Broad Wins With Flush Over Flush

Nível 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

A full board of 4♠7♣8♠Q♠J♣ with 20,000 chips in the middle. Alex Broad had fired a bet of 7,500 on the river and his opponent made a quick called.

"Flush," announced Broad before he flipped over J♠3♠. His opponent flashed 5♠2♠ to the table for a lower flush before she mucked her hand.

Grunat Cracks Aces

Nível 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

A player in early position limped, the middle position player raised to 3,000 and Josh Grunat made the call from the small blind. The early position player also came along. The flop was the 9♠10♣10♦ and Grunat took the lead and bet 12,000. The early position player folded and the middle position player moved all in for 19,000. Grunat had no decision and made a quick call.

The middle position player knew immediately and asked, "Do you have the ten?"

Grunat replied, "Yes".

Middle position: A♣A♦ All in
Josh Grunat: J♠10♠

The turn 3♣ and the river 8♦ did not help the aces and Grunat received a nice bonus with his trips.

Big Slick Helps Locascio to a Double-Up

The under-the-gun player opened to 2,500 and Stuart Locascio made a three-bet to 10,000 from middle position. When the action got back to the under-the-gun player, he shoved all in. Locascio quickly called for his stack of around 42,000.

Under The Gun: 3♣3♠

Locascio paired his ace on the 2♥Q♣A♣ flop and maintained his lead throughout the runout as neither the Q♠ turn nor 7♥ river could change anything.

Aces Versus Kings Collision

Action was picked up with Rich Lanes all in for 27,100 versus a player from under the gun.

It was a massive cooler as Lanes ran straight into the aces from the under the gun player. But when the board ran out 4♣8♥7♠K♥Q♠ it was Lanes putting the bad beat on his opponent when he turned a set of kings, to crack the aces and double up.

With two players in the hand with 3,500 chips in the pot and a board showing J♥3♥3♠ Mark Zwickel bet all in for 15,400 from the small blind. The player in middle position called to put Zwickel at risk.

Middle Position: 10♥8♥

Zwickel's flush draw was no good against his opponent bigger flush draw, but when the board ran out Q♣ on the turn, and 7♠ on river, Zwickel improved to a pair of sevens, to give him the double up.

Betz Bets All of it For the Double

Tom Betz moved all in from early position for 3,600 and the cutoff made the call.

The board came out with no help for sevens but loads for the newlyweds with 5♥K♠J♠10♦J♣ and Betz won with the higher two pair.

Rubinfeld Saved by the River

Action folded to a player who limped from early position, and when it folded to Steven Rubinfeld in the cutoff, he raised all in for 6,500. It folded back to the player in early position, who made the call to put Rubinfeld at risk.

Rubinfeld would need help to stay in the tournament. After the board ran out 5♦8♣8♠K♣10♦ the river gave Rubinfeld the best hand with two pair 10's and eights, to get the double up.
