Mccormick Finds a Nice River
Nível 5
: Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
A player under the gun raised to 1,500 and when it folded to Tom Mccormick in middle position, he three-bet to 5,100. It folded back to the player under the gun, who made the call.
The flop came 5♠Q♠2♠ and Mccormick bet 800. The under the gun player made the call to see a turn.
Both players checked after the J♣ came on the turn.
The river was the A♦ to complete the board, and the player under the gun bet out 1,000. Mccormick quickly called, and was shown A♥10♦ for top pair, but he tabled A♣K♣ for top pair, top kicker, and took down the pot.
