After the turn came with the 6♦, both players checked to the river.
The river was the K♦ and after the early position player checked, Blackburn bet 2,000 and was quickly called. Blackburn tabled A♣K♥ for top pair, top kicker, and his opponent mucked his hand.
The table also relayed info about the first hand of the tournament, when Mark Brennan eliminated a player after flopping quad queens. Brennan and his opponent got all the chips in on the turn, when his opponent needed a K♥ for a royal flush.
