2024 World Series of Poker
Viktor Blom opened on the button and Chris Hunichen three-bet to 10,000,000 in the big blind. Blom re-raised and Hunichen called off for 1,200,000 more.
Chris Hunichen: A♥6♥
Viktor Blom: A♣K♦
Hunichen was dominated and got no help from the 10♣7♣3♠ flop or 8♦ turn. However, the river landed the 6♦ to send Hunichen out of his seat after securing the unlikely double.
Nível: 25
Blinds: 300,000/600,000
Ante: 600,000
The remaining three players have been sent on a short break.
Viktor Blom opened to 1,000,000 on the button and Chris Hunichen three-bet to 3,500,000. Blom meant to call but instead four-bet to 6,000,000. Hunichen jammed on top of him and Blom called while shaking his head.
Viktor Blom: A♦7♦
Chris Hunichen: A♣J♣
Blom confirmed he had misclicked, but it mattered little as the board ran out 5♣2♠10♥7♥Q♣. It is the second misclick today from the online grinder after an earlier double through Ausmus.
Jeremy Ausmus raised to 1,100,000 on the button with K♥7♠ and Viktor Blom and Chris Hunichen respectively called in the blinds with J♣10♦ and Q♥9♣.
The flop of 6♦Q♠10♥ checked through and Blom bet 1,850,000 on the Q♣ turn. Hunichen called and Ausmus folded.
Blom then checked on the A♦ river and Hunichen bet 4,000,000. Blom laid it down.
Chris Hunichen open-jammed a stack of 10,850,000 in the small blind and Jeremy Ausmus called in the big blind with a bigger stack.
Chris Hunichen: 5♦5♣
Jeremy Ausmus: A♣J♦
Hunichen stayed ahead with fives on the flop of 10♥2♣7♠, but Ausmus took a big lead on the A♥ turn. Hunichen tried to give Ausmus a handshake, but it was premature as the 5♠ appeared on the river to give Hunichen a huge double as he ran to his rail to celebrate.
Jeremy Ausmus opened to 1,000,000 on the button with Q♦2♦ and Viktor Blom slow-played in the small blind with J♠J♣ and Chris Hunichen came along with A♦7♣.
The flop of Q♠4♣7♥ and the 4♠ turn also checked through. Blom then bet 2,400,000 on the 5♣ river with his jacks and Hunichen called with his pair of sevens. Ausmus called and took down the sizable pot.
Jeremy Ausmus open-jammed in the small blind and Chance Kornuth called off in the big blind with a stack of 5,875,000.
Chance Kornuth: 9♠9♣
Jeremy Ausmus: K♠6♣
Kornuth was far in front but the flop of K♦5♠A♣ had other plans as Ausmus took a big lead with a pair of kings. The K♣ turn only improved Ausmus' hand before the J♣ river confirmed Kornuth's elimination in fourth place.
