Eric Wasserson raised to 80,000 from middle position and Adrian Mateos three-bet to 240,000 out of the hijack. When the action got back to Wasserson, he shoved all in for around 1,700,000, and Mateos made the call.
The two players seemed to know what each other had, and while the dealer was waiting for the go-ahead to run the board, Wasserson pushed all of his stack next to that of Mateos'.
"I know it's coming. I'm running so good," remarked Mateos.

A flop of 9♥K♥K♣ didn't change anything but Mateos' words came true as the Q♠ landed on the turn, which improved him to a full house.
Wasserson needed an ace or a king on the river to stay alive but the J♦ wasn't what he was looking for, which meant he was eliminated in 29th place.

Picking up the action on the flop, Mikita Badziakouski in the big blind was involved in a hand with Jesse Lonis in early position.
With the board reading 7♣K♠3♠, Badziakouski who had just 25,000 behind, checked. Lonis promptly bet 30,000 and Badziakouski called off for his tournament life.

Badziakouski had flopped big to put himself in a commanding position and held on the Q♦ turn and 6♦ river to secure a crucial double up.

Mikita Badziakouski raised to 80,000 under the gun and Bruce Buffer three-bet shoved all-in from the big blind, putting himself at risk. Badziakouski reluctantly made the call.

The pair saw a flop of 7♥7♣3♠ which Kabrhel continued on for 100,000. Ausmus called.
On the J♣ turn, Kabrhel fired another bet of 295,000, and Ausmus folded.

Artur Martirosian opened to 90,000 from middle position only to see Viktor Blom three-bet to 365,000 on the button. The blinds got out of the way to send the action back to Martirosian who called.
The flop came 3♥7♦Q♠ and Martirosian checked to Blom. He continued for 140,000, receiving a call from Martirosian.
Martirosian checked following the 5♥ turn. Blom was in no mood to slow down, instead pushing a hefty 565,000 into the pot. After thinking for some time, Martirosian laid down his hand to preserve his stack on the soft bubble.

Andy Wilson opened to 80,000 from early position before Mikita Badziakouski three-bet to 240,000 on the button. Action folded back around to Wilson who moved all in. That did not sit well with Badziakouski, the effective stack.
After shaking his head a few times and a quick re-peek at his hole cards, Badziakouski mucked to put a dent in his stack.
