Johan Guilbert has been picking up steam on Day 2, climbing up from 140,000 or 14 big blinds at the start of the day. He has been hovering around 10-20 big blinds for most of the day until this hand.

According to the players, action sarted with a raise from Patrick Crivell in the hijack, which Guilbert called on the button, as did Dinesh Alt in the big blind.

The flop was 106A and the big blind checked. Crivell continued for 70,000. Guilbert then pushed all-in, Alt folded and Crivell quickly called.

Both players flopped a set and Guilbert's set of aces was way ahead. Crivell did not get help on the 7 turn or the 3 river.

A few hands later Crivell found himself all-in preflop against Brett Apter.

Emig Coming on Strong

Nível 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Less than 30 minutes after surviving his all-in situation, which saw him triple up, [Removed:471] is making his presence felt.

Action picked up on the turn in a hand involving Emig and Joshua Wang, the Day 1 chip leader, with a pot of more than 400,000.

The board showed K2J3, and action fell on Emig, who was in the small blind. Emig briefly paused before reaching into his chip stack to pull out three full barrels of 5,000 chips before moving them forward together in a single motion for a 300,000 bet.

The bet certainly got Wang’s attention, who leaned forward in his chair to stare at the board. Wang then folded and the pot was pushed to Emig, who went over the 1,000,000 mark.
