Nível 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Eric Blair raised to 80,000 from the button and was called by Arkadi Onikoul in the big blind.

The flop came KK9, Onikoul checked, Blair bet 50,000, Onikoul then raised to 130,000, before Blair made it 210,000 to go. Onikoul made the call.

Action checked through on the A turn card.

Larsen Falls to Buzgon in Massive Cooler

Nível 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Landon Tice opened to 100,000 and was then three-bet to 230,000 by Kyle Larson in the cutoff. The button quickly got out of the way but then Daniel Buzgon four-bet to 490,000. Action folded back to Larson who announced he was all in, at which point Buzgon checked his cards one more time and made the call.

"You got aces?" Larson asked, and Buzgon answered his question by flipping over AA.

"Wow, such a f*cking cooler," Larson sighed heavily as he tossed over KK.

The runout of 81086Q changed nothing and after a chip count confirmed he was covered, Larson was eliminated.

Back to Back Victories for Russell

Nível 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Michael Russell won two pots in a row. Russell raised from the cutoff to 85,000 and Jeremy Joseph called in the big blind. The flop came out as 58A and Russell placed the continuation bet of 200,000. Joseph folded. Russell flipped over his cards 88 and stated, "Just so you know, I'm not trying to buy it."

In the second hand Michael Miller raised to 80,000 from under the gun and Russell called from the hijack. This time the board ran out as 7Q8 and both players checked and checked again on the turn J.

When the river K hit, Miller bet out 85,000 and Russell made the call. Miller held 44 and Russell had 55. The table praised Russell for the good call with the small pair which had Miller slightly beat.

Dodd Calls Tran’s Bluff for His Tournament Life

Nível 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Action was caught on the river with the board being 73KA4.

There was already around 800,000 in the middle when Matthew Dodd, who was in the big blind, checked to JC Tran on the button. Tran declared all-in, which was for Dodd’s tournament. He had around 285,000 left.

Dodd thought for a while and then reluctantly called. Tran turned up J9, and Dodd was ecstatic to see his K8 for second pair was good. A big pot of 1,400,000 chips went his way, and Tran was left with just around 14 big blinds.
