2023 WSOP Gold Bracelet
2023 WSOP Gold Bracelet

On July 9, Event #16: $600 NLH Online Deepstack Championship event ran on WSOP Online for players located in Nevada and New Jersey and Brazil’s Vitor Dzivielevski claimed the bracelet and top prize of $185,316.

The tournament attracted a total of 2,157 entries to the virtual felt and generated a prize pool of $1,164,780 paid out to the top 289 finishers.

Among the players who made deep runs but fell short of the final table were Brock Wilson (17th - $7,222), Chino Rheem (20th - $5,824), Michael Wang (26th - $5,824), Joey Weissman (43rd - $3,844), Jeff Gross (78th - $2,097), and recent first-time bracelet winner Pavel Plesuv (90th - $1,864).

Another Bracelet for Brazil

Dzivielevski picked up his first-ever bracelet and the fourth bracelet for Brazil during the 2023 World Series of Poker. One of those bracelets went to his high-roller brother Yuri Dzivielevski, who claimed his third bracelet earlier this summer in Event #47: $1,500 H.O.R.S.E.

Dzivielevski defeated Canadian Michael Baldwin in heads-up play to secure the jewelry and his biggest-ever cash of $185,316. He had also just made a deep run in WSOP Online Event #14 only a few days earlier when he finished 24th out of 1,767.

Dzivielevski had another recent close call in late June when he notched his biggest-ever live cash with a sixth-place finish for $153,485 in Event #65: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em (6-Handed), but this time he was able to go all the way to snatch his first piece of WSOP hardware.

Negreanu Again Falls Short of a Bracelet

Daniel Negreanu made a deep run in this event which he featured throughout a recent WSOP vlog. However, his all-in woes struck again when he got pocket tens in against the pocket nines of David Uvaydov for the chip lead with 10 players remaining. “Kid Poker” was more than an 80% favorite to take the lead into the final table, but a nine on the flop left him short and he busted soon after in ninth place.

Uvaydov would go on to finish in third place for $83,282. It was Uvaydov’s second third-place finish in a WSOP Online event for a big score this summer after he finished third in Online Event #10: $400 No-Limit Ultra Deepstack for $66,421 a couple of weeks earlier.
