Both players checked the Q♦ turn and the 10♠ fell on the river. Lenaghan then fired out 10,000.

His opponent quickly called and Lenaghan, who has cashed in three prior Main Events including a run to 16th place in 2011, showed A♣J♦ for the rivered straight to take the pot.

Madanzhiev Jams Into Kassouf

Picking up the action on the Q♦8♦6♣ flop, the action checked to William Kassouf in the cutoff and he bet 6,500. The big blind folded but Stoyan Madanzhiev called in the hijack. Both checked the 9♦ turn and Madanzhiev then jammed the 9♠ river for more than the pot.

Kassouf went into the tank and eventually folded after plenty of table chat.

On a flop of 8♦3♣4♣, Jon Cohen had already made a bet on the button and was check-raised to 13,500 by Martin Nielsen, who was in middle position. Cohen called.

The 7♠ fell on the turn and Nielsen shoved for his remaining chips. Cohen quickly called and hands were revealed.

Nielsen had run into a set and would need to bink a two-outer to survive. It wasn't meant to be, however, as the 3♠ completed the board and Cohen collected the rest of Nielsen's chips.

Andrew Kelsall raised 3,000 in early position and Jacob Mitich called next to act, followed by the small blind before Anthony Bahr pushed his entire stack across the line. Kelsall folded quickly but Mitich went deep in the tank.

After about two minutes, Mitich pushed his cards forward and the small blind snap-folded behind. Bahr opted not to show the table even though they requested.

"Looks like ace-king all day," Said Kelsall.

Both players checked the 4♥ turn before the 2♣ fell on the river. Dwan then led out with 40,000.

His opponent took out his earphones and began wiggling around in his seat as he considered the decision, eventually leaning over the table to get a good look at the board. He called after several minutes and Dwan turned over K♣K♦ for top set.

"That will do," someone yelled out from the rail as Dwan raked in another big pot.

With the seat of Benny Glaser empty, PokerNews caught up with his former table as they recounted his bust-out hand.

While Glaser was nursing a short stack for most of the day, the start of level nine saw his chips fluctuate up and down until ultimately his main event journey came to an end. With all the money in the middle preflop against opponent Dirk Perdrix, Glaser was at risk.
