On the 9♦ turn, the big blind bet once more which only Thorpe called.
Before the river 5♥ was dealt, the big blind bet and Thorpe blindly called and turned over A♠K♣9♠7♥ for nines full. His opponent frustratingly turned over Q♦J♥10♠4♣ for a flopped straight and the pot was pushed to Thorpe.
