Kindred Flops a Set to Eliminate Garagnani

Pedro Garagnani raised 160,000 in the cutoff and Justin Kindred three-bet all-in from the big blind. Garagnani went into the tank and asked for a count. The dealer broke down the stacks to show him it was 1,650,000, and after a couple of seconds more, he called off his stack of 1,400,000.

Justin Kindred: 7♦7♣

It was a coin flip until the K♣J♦7♠ flop hit the felt, giving Kindred a set of sevens. The 4♠ turn sealed the fate of Garagnani and the K♥ river was just a formality.

After Moshe Refaelowitz doubled up through Daniel Smiljkovic (A♠K♣>7x7x on 4♥K♠J♥3♠8♦), Alejandro Lococo called in the big blind after [Removed:554] opened on the button.

On the flop 3♦9♦6♦, [Removed:555] made a continuation bet of 80,000. Lococo then moved all in for approximately 1,200,000 chips. [Removed:555] called.

[Removed:555] had a set on the flop, but Lococo could still hit a straight. However, the A♦ came on the turn and the A♥ on the river, so Lococo left the tournament

After his elimination, floors asked the dealers to stop dealing to do the redraw.

Christoph Vogelsang opened to 160,000 in the cutoff and Cary Katz defended the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of 6♥4♥4♣, and Katz check-called a bet of 80,000.

When the A♠ hit the turn, Katz checked and Christoph Vogelsang fired a bet of 260,000. That was enough for Katz to surrender the pot.

It was a classic race but the Q♠6♣4♠9♥2♠ run out couldn't connect with Holz as he was eliminated on the stone bubble. The 27 remaining players have locked up a payout of $80,920.

Peters didn't find the ace he wanted on the board Q♦8♦9♥7♠5♦, and let Kulev double up. As both players had almost the same stack, Peters had only 125,000 chips left after the hand.
