Zlatin Penev moved all in preflop from the cutoff and then Bruce Vandervort on the button shoved behind him for less. The other players quickly folded and the two flipped their cards over, with Vandervort at risk.

Vandervort was in a great position to double up here, but the runout of 10♠5♦7♦J♠K♣ was brutal as it gave Penev a Broadway straight on the river to eliminate him in 16th place.

James Anderson raised from hijack to 340,000 and Seth Davies made the call from the cutoff. The flop came out 7♦8♥5♣ and Anderson checked and Davies bet out 300,000. Anderson stayed in with a call.

The turn brought the A♥ and both players checked.

The river 2♠ was where all of the action went crazy and Anderson checked, Davies bet out 2,500,000 and Anderson reraised all in for 6,855,000. Davies calculated and recalculated and made the call.

Anderson held the superior set and suddenly moved in the chip leader position.
