Aciton caught up with Billy Cashwell all-in against a player in the big blind, with the big blind player at risk.
"Good luck," said Cashwell to his opponent when the cards were on their backs.
Big Blind Player: 9♦9♣
Billy Cashwell: K♦K♣
"Why did you say good luck?" Commented one of Cashwell's table mates who was not in the hand after the dealer rolled out the 9♠4♣10♣ flop.
The 2♦ on the turn would change nothing.
"That's why," replied Cashwell after the K♥ fell on the river, for a final runout of 9♠4♣10♣2♦K♥.
"Because I'm a gentleman," concluded Cashwell after securing the elimination.

David Moreno called over PokerNews to recount a bad beat he recently suffered. Because we love bad beat stories.
Moreno in the small blind bet 4,000 and was called by Michael Graffeo in the big blind.
The flop was K♥8♦6♠ and Graffeo bet 6,000. Moreno check-raised to 18,000, which did not deter Graffeo who three-bet to 46,000, which left him with 18,000 behind. Moreno announced all in and Graffeo called to be at risk for 64,000 total.
Michael Graffeo: A♦A♠
David Moreno: K♦K♠
Graffeo slow-played aces but ran into Moreno's set of kings. The 4♥ changed nothing on the turn, but the A♥ on the river sure did. Ouch. With a better set, Graffeo raked in a monster pot.

Thanks to tables breaking more quickly for the Main Event and bust-outs happening more frequently, the line to get into the action is moving faster than it has all day.
Currently, 2,824 have registered for Day 1c, but this number is escalating rather sharply.

The player under the gun raised to 5,000 and the middle position player and the big blind, Christopher Garman, both came along for the ride.
The flop showed 8♥10♦6♦ and that's when everything went wild.
Garman checked, under-the-gun bet 8,000, the middle position player shoved all of his chips in for about 33,000 and Garman re-shoved with the bigger stack, getting the player under-the-gun player to fold.
Middle position: A♦5♦ for a nut-flush draw.
Christopher Garman: 10♠9♥ for top pair with a gutshot possibility.
Garman beckoned "no diamonds!" The dealer did not oblige and delivered the 8♦ on the turn. But that card did pair the board, and when the river came the 10♥, Garman was back on top with a pot-scooping full house.

A player in the small blind moved all in and was called by Alexane Najchaus in the big blind.
Alexane Najchaus: J♠J♣
Small Blind: 9♥7♣
Although Najchaus' opponent would flop a pair on the 3♠A♠7♥ board, he would still need to play catch-up to survive.
However, Najchaus was able to score the elimination on the clean runout after the Q♥ fell on the turn and the 4♦ on the river, sending her opponent to the rail.
"Finally, an easy call for once," Najchaus said.

Daniel Cosner: A♣5♣
The player in the hijack called them "unlucky sevens."
Two of the other players claimed to have folded an ace.
