With the board reading Q♣9♥8♥6♥ and with 15,000 in the middle, Alex Panelli moved all in from the big blind for 11,000 and was called by middle position.
Alex Panelli: Q♠J♠
Middle position: K♣9♣
Panelli was ahead with top pair against middle position's second pair. The 3♣ completed the board and Panelli secured the double-up.
The cutoff bet 2,400 and Wesley Carter moved all in for 5,600 from the button which was called by the cutoff.
Wesley Carter: A♣6♠
Cutoff: K♣8♠
The cutoff took the lead after the flop of K♦10♦5♥, but the A♦ on the turn gave Carter top pair. The Q♠ completed the board and Carter secured the double-up.
Tuan Nguyen raised from the hijack position to 2,700 and was called by the button and the small blind. The flop dropped 9♠7♣3♠ and once it went check check, Nguyen placed the continuation bet of 4,400 and received a call from both players.
The turn brought the double flush draw with the 9♣ and Nguyen continued betting for 5,000 after checked to and the small blind raised to 20,000 and the button folded reluctantly. Nguyen took a moment and then called which put him all in and said, "Good hand, I am beat". Both players needed prompting to flip their cards.
Tuan Nguyen: 3♠3♣
Small blind player: J♠Q♠
The small blind was gunning for the flush and did get there on the river 6♠ but Nguyen already had the full house but indicated that he thought the small blind had a bigger full house.
Gaston Gurevich check-raised all-in for roughly 19,000 from the big blind against a player in early position on a flop that read 6♣9♦K♠. The early position player called.
Gaston Gurevich: 8♠7♠
Early Position: K♣10♣
Gurevich was on a draw and his opponent held one of his outs.
However, Gurevich wouldn't have to wait long, as the 10♥ immediately fell on the turn, completing the straight.
Now, ironically, Gurevich would need to fade a ten (as well as a king) to avoid elimination, which is what he was able to do on the J♥ river, giving him the full double.
The player under the gun raised to 2,000 and a middle position player called. The hijack three-bet to 6,000 and Judy Whitlow in the cutoff called, as did under-the-gun. The flop came 6♠8♠4♣ and it was checked to the hijack, who bet 4,500. Whitlow decided to take charge of the hand and reraised to 10,000. Everyone folded except the hijack.
The turn brought the 3♥ and this time the hijack checked to Whitlow, who bet 10,000, which was called.
Both players checked the river 7♣ and the hijack turned over the K♠J♠ to reveal a missed flush and Whitlow turned over K♥K♦ for top pair.
With 15,000 in the middle on the flop of 10♣8♣5♦, the big blind bet 17,000 and was called by Ana Freitas from under the gun.
The turn brought the 2♦ and the big blind shoved 28,000 and was snap-called by Freitas, who had 25,500 remaining.
Ana Freitas: 10♠10♦
Big Blind: 7♣7♠
The big blind was drawing dead after Freitas slow-played her flopped top set. The 2♣ made Freitas a boat on the river and the big blind was left with shrapnel.
