Sickle's Sixes Do It Again

Nível 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Michael Van Sickle bet 4,000 from early position and the big blind defended.

The flop came 109K, and both players quickly checked.

When the Q peeled off on the turn, the big blind checked to Sickle. He led out for 6,000 and his opponent was quick to fold. Van Sickle revealed he was holding 6x6x, the same hand he won a pot from earlier.

Lightning on the River for Pederson to Score Elimination

Nível 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

A player in late position moved all in for 26,000 and Travis Pederson re-shoved over the top from the button. Action folded around and the late position player was at risk and racing.

Late Position: KQ
Travis Pederson: 99

Pederson held the lead on the J54 flop. But the Q on the turn shifted fortunes in the hand, and the late position player was just one card away from a double-up.

But as fate runs in poker, Pederson hit his two-outer in the form of the 9 on the river to score the elimination.

Pryor Takes Out Lew

Nível 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Action was joined as the board was being dealt. Robbi Jade Lew was all in from the button, with Adam Pryor calling from the hijack.

Robbi Jade Lew: 43
Adam Pryor: A8

With one card to come, the board showed 2A32. Lew's smaller two pair would need help to improve, but the 4 river sent her away from the table and back into the late registration line to get a new stack.

Nixon Dumped Out by Clinkscales

Nível 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Jamie Nixon moved all in from under the gun for 10,100 and was called by Rex Clinkscales in the cutoff.

Jamie Nixon: KQ
Rex Clinkscales: A9

Nixon was behind, but the flop of 764 gave the Brit additional hope with a flush draw. He lost outs when the A landed on the turn and the 5 cemented his exit against Clinkscales' top pair.

Meanwhile, at a neighboring table we noticed that the early chip leader Dan Heimiller had busted out. It remains to be seen if the two-time bracelet winner will reenter before late registration closes at the end of Level 12.

Lin's Fives Flop Big for Elimination

Nível 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action caught up on the flop of an all-in hand between Xiang Lin on the button and a player to his right in late position.

The cards were on their backs and the late position player was at risk, with the board reading 523.

Late Position Player: AK
Xiang Lin: 55

Lin flopped huge with a set of fives, but his opponent had a redraw to the wheel.

However, the 6 turn and 7 would seal it for Lin and send his opponent to the rail.
