Chait Binks it, Baby

Nível 6

Pot-Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw

David Williams raised to 1,600 from the button. Scotty Nguyen grabbed for 8,000 in chips, before laughing and folding three aces face up.

A few hands later in Big O, Craig Chait bet 2,000 on a board of 81084. "I binked it, baby!" he told Nguyen. Nguyen, unbelieving, called, and called again when Chait bet another 2,000 on the Q river.

Chait showed fours full of eights and said, "I told you. I wasn't lying," and Nguyen folded.

Also at the table, Julio Belluscio is attempting to win the award for "New Concepts in Chip Stacking", having arranged his chips not vertically, but on their sides, in a snake coiled along the table rail.

Nível 6

No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw

Josh Arieh raised to 3,000 from under the gun, and Takashi Ogura reraised to 9,000 from middle position. Small blind Justin Liberto asked Ogura what he had behind, and then put in the four-bet all in for 32,800. Big blind Dan Shak and Arieh folded immediately, and Ogura stacked his chips a couple times before releasing his hand.

On the next hand Naoya Kihara raised to 1,200 from middle position and Ogura defended his big blind. Ogura drew one and Kihara two. Ogura checked to Kihara, who continued for 2,100. Ogura called, and Kihara showed 10x8x7x6x3x for the win.

Rheem, Monette, and Friedman Practice Their Fractions

Nível 5

Big O

Chino Rheem had Adam Friedman and John Monnette all in on a board 7635Q.

John Monnette: A92J9
Adam Friedman: A2K73
Chino Rheem: A7Q5J

Rheem had taken the high pot with two pair queens and sevens, while Monnette and Friedman split with the nut low.

While the dealer and players were sorting out the fractions of pots won by each, Max Schindler was attempting to convince a friend who had just busted another tournament to jump into this one. "You'd like it. It's nothing but fish. I knocked Chino out, and then they put him back at our table, and now look at his stack!"

Ward Isn't Intimidated by His Table Draw

Nível 5

Big O

As Bryan Micon sat down at a table already boasting Andy Black and Robert Williamson III, Black said, "You better make it a good one, boys. This one is for posterity."

Undeterred, Kevin Ward bet 1,600 from the small blind on a board of A36QK. Cutoff Williamson called, and Black folded.

"I want it put down that 'Sir Andrew Black made a wise fold.'"

Ward declared flush, Williamson mucked, and Ward dragged the pot.
