Foxen Finally Takes a Hit

Nível 13 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Alex Foxen was seemingly unstoppable yesterday in taking the chip lead, but his massive stack was just reduced a bit at the hands of Kane Kalas.

Kalas bet 39,000 on a flop of 533 before Foxen, in the hijack, raised enough to put him all in. Kalas called for his last 160,000.

Kane Kalas: KKJJ
Alex Foxen: QQ75

Kalas was ahead with his pair of kings and stayed in front on the 8 turn and 9 river to double up with a flush and put a small dent in Foxen's wall of chiips.

Deeb Tries to Get Kempton Off a Set

Nível 13 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Isaac Kempton bet 20,000 on a flop of Q54 and Shaun Deeb called. Both players checked the 7 turn.

The river came the K and Deeb led out for 45,000. "Good river for kings," Deeb said as Kempton tanked for more than a minute.

Kempton eventually slammed in a chip to signify a call. "You're going to win. I have jacks," Deeb said.

"Kings," Kempton replied, showing KK.

"I know," Deeb added.

Marsico Powers Out Winter

Nível 13 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Chris Lee raised to 35,000 from the hijack and Sean Winter called in the cutoff before Anthony Marsico, on the button, three-bet to 155,000.

Lee quickly folded, but Winter called to the Q52 flop. He checked over to Marsico, who continued for 125,000. Winter spent a few moments shuffling his cards around before he called.

The A fell on the turn and Winter checked again. Marsico now slid forward a tower of green 25,000 chips and Winter's cards instantly hit the muck.

Sinishtaj Comes And Goes Quickly

Nível 13 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Gjergj Sinishtaj was a late entrant on Day 2 and on the first hand moved all in after big blind Krasimir Yankov three-bet to 160,000.

Gjergj Sinishtaj: KK97
Krasimir Yankov: AAJ5

Yankov hit top set on the 4A5 and Sinishtaj began calling for a diamond, but none came on the 10 and he was left drawing dead by the 8 river.

"Easy game," Yankov said.

"Merry Christmas," tablemate Ren Lin told him, giving him a fist pump as Yankov, who began the day second in chips, only added to his stack.

"Not what I expected," Stein said when the cards were flipped over. Rabl flopped a set on 1093 but couldn't fade the 8 turn and A river runout.
