Ren Lin opened to 5,000 from under the gun and Pedro Marques called from the hijack. Vanessa Selbst three-bet to 18,500 from the cutoff and Ren Lin four-bet to 50,000. Marques got out of the way and Selbst moved all in for approximately 275,000, sending Lin into the tank.

"You gamble with ace king?" Lin, who covered Selbst slightly, thought out loud. After about a minute of consideration, he folded Q♥Q♦ face up and Selbst dragged in a sizable pot uncontested.

Liberto Shows the Rockets

Sergio Aido was all in from under the gun for his last 500 chips. Justin Liberto raised to 6,500 on his left and Poorya Nazari three-bet to 20,000 on the button. Liberto just called and the flop of 10♥5♦2♠ was spread across the felt.

Liberto checked to Nazari who continued with a bet of 18,000. Liberto check-raised all in and Nazari quickly mucked his cards. Liberto turned over A♠A♣ and had Aido's Q♠2♣ in trouble. The 6♣ and K♣ runout was no help to Aido who headed to the rail.

Jeffrey Farnes, who made the main event final table last year, three-bet to 20,500 from the small blind and Zolotow moved all in for roughly 50,000. Monzanares got out of the way and Farnes quickly made the call to put Zolotow at risk.

Zolotow was in bad shape against Farnes who had a bigger ace. He failed to improve when the board ran out 6♦8♥2♠10♦K♦ and was sent to the rail while Farnes dragged in a nice early pot.

Cornell Gets Heimiller to Fold

Tyler Cornell raised it up on the button and Dan Heimiller reraised to 17,500 from the big blind. Cornell called and the dealer fanned the flop of 9♣5♦2♦.

Heimiller led out with a bet of 18,000 and Cornell called to see the 4♥ on the turn. Heimiller checked this time and Cornell slid out a bet of 35,000. Heimiller folded this time and Cornell raked in an early pot.

The flop came 9♥8♦6♣ and Hennigan was still in front with his pair of deuces. However, the A♥ on the turn gave Rich a pair of aces and the 9♣ on the river sealed Hennigan's fate.

The turn was the J♣ and Bohdanov checked this time. Gathy counted out a bet of 18,000 and Bohdanov stuck around for the 9♥ on the river. Bohdanov checked again and Gathy slid out a bet of around 80,000, leaving just 1,000 behind. Bohdanov called and Gathy tabled 7♣5♣ for air. Bohdanov held 8♣4♣ for the lone pair and scooped the pot.
